Title: Hitec Optic 6 sport packaged contents??
Post by: davyg on September 06, 2014, 05:31:48 AM
I found these Hitec items in my RC odds and sods box, I have to add that the TX was purchased a few years back and the accessories were chucked in the box an forgotten about until yesterday..

I know that one is a battery cradle , but for what I don't know... I inserted 4 batts to it and then removed the lipo and plugged the cage into the TX unit, cradle wouldn't fit properly and all I got when I powered on the TX was beeping coupled with a voltage reading of only 6.2 or so... so that rules out using that on my TX..

I have no idea as for what the micro switch is supposed to do or be fitted to..

can anyone on here shed some light on the subject for me....... cheers in advance...

Its for powering a receiver not a transmitter. The switch is so you can switch the plane on / off instead of pulling the batteries out of the cradle

No worries :) No one uses them anymore anyway, we just use the Esc Bec or a stand alone Bec now instead so don`t have to remember to charge an additional 4 batteries
