Title: T8J rudder channel to control aux switch instead of rudder help?
Post by: nowler on October 13, 2014, 12:00:08 PM

hi guys

so, i have a t8j that i have hooked up to ezuhf 4ch rx for a wing project.

channels1 & 2 for elevons, ch3 for throttle and ch4 i'd like to use as a switch for the apm autopilot.

i have a 14sg tranny that is easy to re-assign channels and switches, but i want to use the t8j for the ezuhf models and i'm struggling on how to do this

is there an easy way to re-assign the rudder channel as a switch? or do i have to program some kind of mix? if so, can anyone help as it's beyond me at the moment!!!

cheers in advance for any help/insight

d

PS

If you haven't got it - here's a Link to the 8J Manual:

http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/8j-manual.pdf (http://manuals.hobbico.com/fut/8j-manual.pdf)

I've had a quick glance at it and it appears you may not be able to do what you want to:

For Channels 5 to 8 you can do what you want in the Aux-Ch Menu feature.

For Channels 1 to 4 - see Page 91 of Manual - Tx Setting.

hi

i've read the manual and i dont think i can do what i'd like to.

simple solution was to transfer my ezuhf across to my 14sg.  i can do what i want to on that .....

thanks for your help anyway.  i did email futaba support so it'll be interesting to see what they come back with.
