Hi,
this will probably look like a newbie question but after 2 days looking into several forums and YouTube videos, I just can't find the beginning of a solution.
I am building myself a QAV250 based on a cheap chinese frame. This is my first built - I owned a Phantom and a Hubsan before = no hands on configuration needed whatsoever. I following this videohttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj6IXA2hDW0 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj6IXA2hDW0), and this blog http://blog.oscarliang.net/fpv250-mini-quadcopter-hobbyking-diatone/ (http://blog.oscarliang.net/fpv250-mini-quadcopter-hobbyking-diatone/)which were really helpful. I use the stock transmitter/receiver for now, 12A SimonK Afro ESC, RCX 1804 motors, 11.1V 800mAh battery (for testing purpose).
I have plugged the Naze32 card to the computer through USB, and it connects well on Baseflight.
When I go on the receiver tab, and move the throttle or pitch on the Tgy, it is reflected on the graph (assume the bind process went ok).
I calibrated all 4 ESC (using mincommand on the CLI tab).
When I go on motor testing, each motor responds well, they are all spinning in the proper direction (2 CW, 2 CCW). All 4 ESC have a steady green light.
Here are the 2 leads I'm following:
1. I did not set-up anything on my Tgy 9x, except for the biding with receiver. On the home screen, it says FM-PPM / Mode 1, whereas I bought her in Mode 2 (throttle on the left)...I guess I should assign an "arm" button, and flight profiles ?
2. I'm not sure how/if I'm supposed to arm the board. I tried everything with both switches (down right/left...) but no reaction on the board. I have 1 blue led steady, 1 white one blinking.
Thanks to anyone who will be able to help or suggest a way to head for !!!

You need to setup the switches in your 9x to the correct channel, then using baseflight setup the switches to select arm, then flight modes or the board will never arm and the motors will never spin up.
Thank you Coyote for the prompt response.
Where do I assign the switch to the channels ? Is it what the Prog. Mix menu is about?
I can't find a basic setup video/tutorial for the 9x with stock firmware...I've browsed dozens of videos about it, but all seem to be specific mods made by pilots, or are made with the er9x firmware.
I'm just looking for the basic/standard step-by-step setup for the Tgy with a quad...I'm probably looking the wrong stuff, or missing something obvious (?)
I`m not 100% sure mate, I flashed mine instantly wit er9x so never used the stock firmware
No worries, thanks for trying :) I'll keep searching for a tutorial on the stock Tx/Rx. The weather is amazing today and I'd really like to fly without waiting to receive what's needed to flash!

When you arm or dis-arm using the throttle, by moving it down then to the left or right. You do have to hold it in position for a little while. It is not just move into position and then let go.
Sorry if you knew that :)
I knew that (have a Phantom), I tried to remain like 10s, just to clear any doubt in my mind...thanks for trying :)
The problem is that I did not setup any "arm" switch in the Tgy menu. I guess it's pretty simple, but couldn't find how to do that, yet.

I am using a Taranis Transmitter but haven't set up any "arm switches". I simply use the throttle down and the the left or right, so I am not sure an "arm switch" is necessary to get it all armed.
It's most probably your endpoints, I found it was really fussy over this and had to ensure that they are all between 1000 and 2000 us.
If you go into Baseflight, then to to receiver you can view them, on your 9X then trim the outputs so that throttle, left rudder, left aileron and bottom (I think) elevon are all 1000 when you view them in Baseflight, then make sure that the other reach (max thtottle, right rudder etc) are all 2000. The midpoint should be trimmed to 1500.
Then, you should find that min throttle + right rudder arms.

Hi guys,
I actually found out that to arm the motors, I had to push my left stick full-throttle, then bring it down, then push it on the upper-left direction, then bring it back down.
This would arm the board, and I'm now ready to fly :)
Haven't found out yet how I can change this to something more simple, but I'm good for now.
Thanks to everyone who helped!
