We spent much knowledge, time and love into this wing because we wanted something that holds our high requirements - something perfect - something that was not available until now!
Our Wipeout combines everything that is important for a FPV wing: long flying durations, very high speed flying but also slow flying is possible, extreme durable and near indestructible, flying characteristics as never seen before and a compact size.
The kit is also very friendly to all the customers out there which want to use their own approved FPV equipment or nothing at all.
Also tested and approved by Team Blacksheeps Trappy ;)

Iv seen your videos...
I'm very tempted! Lots of effort put into this wing!
In the spec you show 2x3s batteries, but the picture only shows 1 battery slot?
The batteries are straight together. This has aerodynamical reasons.
looks like a plain epp wing with a monkeyblunt centre section.
without trying to sound rude, what's so special about this wing compared to other much cheaper epp wings, that warrants a $150 price tag? I'd expect at least a couple of servos and an entry level motor for that kind of money if buying an epp wing.

Hi
Its not just a bunch of EPP that makes it worth the 149 USD its the design, the hundreds of working hours spent into a wing that has flight characteristics like nothing other and the well choosen electronic package.
Its also the service, the manuals and building tutorials that will appear on our Online Shop.
Its build concept makes the wing also ultra durable and crash resistent.
There is nothing similair on the market atm ;)

Care to explain what makes it's flight characteristics so fantastic?
And what build concept makes it so ultra durable and crash resistant? A couple of spars, decent foam and laminate?!
Sorry but it looks like a TBS Cap and TW40 clone to me. With a bit of tek sumo in there too.

No. But it takes time to find the right Equipment / ESC Settings / Props etc.

Yes thats true. This is not the primary forum which we use... apologize for that ;)
No its not a Caipi clone or a mixture from anything. We have tested so many wing kits and we were never happy with it. So we decided to completely design a new one. Since we are convinced that flying wings are they key in FPV wings we made this one.
Of course I Can't explain any detail of it (copyright reasons) but i can tell you its the well chosen alignment of many fibre tubes and rods combined with the right building method.
Watch our videos and you should clearly see the result.
Fly over so long time that your GoPro will stop recording because ist battery would go empty and make stunts with this wing that couldn't be done with any similar wing. Fly fast, fly low or fly faster than any Zephyr could do.
By the way there is more material in the wing kit than in a ZII kit (note that the littler more EPP / EPO Material is NO cost Point)!
Love the vids, I'm sure they will sell well on the back of these, good luck and keep the vids coming.

Hmmmm, so basically, you're charging your customers a bit extra just because
you had to buy several electronics packages to see which one
you preferred?
I'm not being funny, but I doubt everyone who will buy your wing will also use the exact same electronics you suggest.... I'm afraid that's an unjustified so called "development" cost to pass on to the consumer.
I actually like the look of it, but I honestly couldn't spend that much money when there are other much cheaper EPP wings, wings that no doubt have been through just as much development and research as you have carried out for the wipeout.
I genuinely wish you luck and hope you are successful. If you fancy sending me one to review ;) ;) I'll be sure to put the ultra durability and crash resistance to the test.
No of course thats not part of the price. That will be part of the price for the electronic package. That was just an example ;)
Yes maybee we will. You can send me a request at:
[email protected]If we have one left we can send you one if you promise to make a full build log here ob the forum and some tests ;)

video looks really good , keep the good work up and good luck with it :)
Thanks, I think there are more suitable people on here that would do your product justice. I have very little time on my hands as it is, it would be unfair of me to promise anything.

Fair enough. But the odd visit to the forum to offer advice or encouragement goes a long way :)
Your videos are very enjoyable and the wing does look very nice :)
Given it's small size, how stable is it? Does it respond well to simple flight stabilisation?

It is very stable for that! It flyes similair to a big 150cm Zephyr with 2.5kg load (which you also can see in the video Wipeout #3). By design it is possible to control the wing Ultra smooth (very high rudder horns give Ultra long servo ways and ergo Ultra high control resolution).
On our test wings we use servo ways of 80-90%! So yes, the wipeout responds very well to simple flight stabilisation ;)

So you're saying it has the stability of a 1.5m fully loaded Zeph with the agility and portability of a small wing? That's very impressive.

You forgot that it will do a touch under 90 Mph and fly for 45 minutes. Reports are coming in that it will also find your car keys if you lose them on the flying field too.

I sayd similair but yes, this is what im saying. We also tested the wing in downhill conditions.
The secret is the amount weight in proportion to the wing area ;)

Please keep it serious. Of course it doesnt fly 45 minutes when you always want a speed at 90 mph. But with our setup 45 minutes flight time are no problem with 40-50 mph (65-80 km/h) - that i guarantee!
Regards
Seems very impressive given the 10-15 mins I manage out of my 1m wing (albeit with a single 2200 lipo). It is pretyt expensive though, which makes it less attractive as something people might give a go in big numbers. That said if someone here gets one, then I'd be really interested to see how it performs.
QuoteThat said if someone here gets one, then I'd be really interested to see how it performs.
Cue a test pilot? Well if Ritewing are sending out Z3 for people to give reviews on maybe you should send one of the kits to Ipeel, Brucey or CK to endorse the product on these forums (or any other wing lunatic ;D ).
Just not me as tend to destroy anything that flies within 30m of take off.......
Yes we will send out a wing kit (only the kit of course) to some one in this forum here for free.

Also, can the wing be balanced using a single 2400 battery, rather than 2 x 2400?
Cheers!

We use 2.4 Ghz. And no... A single 2400er will not be possible. CG is hard to reach with that less weight at the front.

Have a look at a Falcon from FlyingWings, that can balance up nicely on a 2200 and flies really well.
Hi guys
Some News out there: Production goes on and we are looking forward to get stock before Christmas.
Of course like promised one of them goes to some one in this Forum (already choosen).
AND to shorten the wait, here is a new video made with our Wipeout for testing downhill capabilities ;)

No we never use stabilizer at flight. Only maybee for RTH if signal loss....
But we are now testing the Eagle Tree Vector. Looks very good ;) Maybee will be available on our shop with custom Settings.
And it WAS really cold... Need to hurry to catch the wing before it was too late :P
Regards!
Great vid guys. I would love to fly in a location like that! Unlucky with the bridge, good skills.
nice to see the much loved storm osd being used in one clip????? how do you find it in the smaller wings always considered one to put in my slipstream just for the safety factor.
We finally released the first batch of our Wipeout wing kit! All pre-orders will be shipped in the coming days.
The next batch is already in production! We expect this one at 17.01.2015! Pre-orders can also be made!

Of course this manual will be corrected modified in the next days. The primary goal now is to provide the manual to the people which will receive their Wipeout in the next few days.

Wow, that is one super detailed manual. :D
Very comprehensive and well put together manual, impressive work :)
Ok no more Mr. Nice Guy! Our Wipeout on 6s Lipo will get your ass scared shitless ;)
Just plug a series-adapter between the ESC and the two 3s Lipo, mount a 5.5 x 5.5 Speed Prop and here you go! Approx. 160 km/h should not be a Problem with that.
And best thing is: Everything possible with our (same) Electronics Package (3s or 6s)!

When I first saw this thread (today) I was more impressed with the low flying skills of the guy on the sticks than the wing itself!
I would stay with the Falcon! I don't treat mine well (sorry Rob) but the thing just wont die! Lol...
And you already know how well it flies!
I heard a rumour at the drone show that someone had brought them?
Did Ratty ever get the free sample?
