Title: Anyone know what's the problem?
Post by: jkishan16 on December 03, 2014, 09:45:38 PM
Just got my RC832 out of the box and all it does is this...

I am beginning to panic D:
How do I fix this?

Hi,

Looks a bit dead!
Obvious things to do before deciding its the VRx
Check that you have power to Vtx.( Cant see an LED on it to show power) If it doesnt have an LED on you will have to use a voltmeter.
Also check that your camera is working by plugging it into monitor directly. You may have to wire up a harness to do that, unless you have original connector.

If those two check out .. dunno, except to try an alternative Vrx and see if you have more luck!

regards
Andy

Dont have a voltmeter, nor an alternative VRx, this is my first 5.8 set and all it shows is a 88 on the LCD no matter what I do, I replug but still the same, batt is at 11.4 volts (storage voltage 3S)

It's the small things like this that upset me and get me off FPV :(

Got a funny feeling its a dud.

In manual it says pressing ch button should change channels. From Vid.. Doesnt look like that is happening..

I know, but the question is, now what :(
The company is in Honk Kong, so I gotta wait for their CS to wake up ._.

It looks knackered, so see if they'll send you a replacement.  If not, did you pay via PayPal - if need be you can open a dispute and say it's not working.... but hopefully it wouldn't get that far.

Not really a long wait then, try waiting for a new ImmersionRC product to be released :)

It may be something really simple.. like the pushbuttons having no or poor connection. If one side of both buttons is wired to a common point and the connection is faulty .. would  cause this result I think

EDIT: So being me, I wouldnt be able to resist opening it up to see what I could see... but that would "void the warranty" I guess!

I want to do that as well, open up and see what's up but the vendor has not replied regarding a resolution yet. So I don't want to risk losing USD 37 over something silly I did impatiently. .-.
I wanted to fly FPV for christmas, doesn't seem to be happening now :(
