I've been looking at getting a tablet of some sort for a while now - and there are now so many I'm lost for choice.
I don't want an Ipad (had one - sold it) but want one for internet browsing and also thought it would be a ground station recorder as well.
Primarily I want it to be good for internet use and email etc. and don't need to spend a fortune for specification I don't need.
I have just been having a quick look at the Archos stuff - but don't know anything about them. Does anyone have one that has internet browsing ability and what are they like. What do they lack (if anything) What would be the recommended one to get.
Thought someone out there would be able to offer me there thoughts.
thanks
Rick
I can only answer your question in regards the Archos for ground station recording.
I use an Archos 605 that I got off Ebay for £35. It had a cracked screen so the touch screen was not working.
But that is no problem for me as I can use the buttons. Works well as a recorder of my FPV flights.
I have an Archo 5 internet Tablet (the old sytle ones per android) I think it's great for video playing & fpv recording, music etc. However I wouldn't recommend them for internet use, I trend to find they crash a lot. I've heard the newer android versions are better but no experience and they are expensive.
