at hobbyking they have pan and tilts for $4 perfect but take 2 weeks to come, in the uk there £11 plus 99p postage
i asked one ebay shop what the difference is, i got no answer
storage costs, labour costs, building costs, tax costs ...
if Hobby King had a UK warehouse, the prices would probably increase too...
yeah, but to probaly no more than £8, not that much
Its up to them what price they want to charge, they had to pay for it, pay for delivery, pay delivery to you again and make it worth their while.
Its up to you to buy it at that price or not. If you want it next day, then you pay for the luxury
i think a saying that my dad used to say would fit here - you try making one for £11!
we just have to remember that most of them all come from the same Chinese/Taiwanese factory/sweatshop and the further away from the factory you buy it - the further along the supply chain you are buying it and the more peoples pockets you are dropping coins into.
as coyote says, its just the price we pay for convenience
Pay less and wait or pay more if you you cant :)
Or like me you could buy the wrong size overpriced glass pan n tilt :+ and then have to buy the right size one!!! lol never drink and ebay....it will cost you!
