hi all ,


just thought id post progress with my quad , got basic frame together and motors mounted, will all come together adding electronics today :)

its 50cm from center to motor mounts

Nice mate, really like it, but was just thinking, wouldn't this be better in the "Members Platform" Thread

bonkers it actualy flys lol

maiden flight with dodgy iphone camera man facinated with its bloody shadow lol

well v1 works still got body to finish


specs



4x 3536 overlander thumper v2 motors
4x 40amp xq escs

currently
11x7, 3 bladed master air screw props on front
10x6, 3 bladed gws props rear both counter rotating

2x 3900mah 4s backs (for currently 12 - 14 mins flight time)
1x copter control from open pilot
12mm x 12mm x 1.6mm ali hollow section
1/4 inch ali tube for landing legs
arms are 50cm long from motor mount to tricoper center
rear 30deg  v angle

all up weight 2.2kg in the air

lifts of at 1/2 throttle

been out today with it , flying in the woods

will post a vid with more action soon

I can see why the people in woods had a fright, looks a real animal ( love the beast look) ;D

Nice one well done, I'm going to convert a Scorpion to Vtail this week don't suppose you would mind sharing your .UAV file for that one?
