Fitted the Storm OSD and L9R Rx to my Frankenwing and finally got out today to test it out:

Lovely video - looked like the perfect weather for flying out over the snow... aside from your hands freezing :)

I've got an LR9 on my Bix2, but I haven't managed to push out past 2km as yet because I haven't had decent wind conditions to do so.  Signal appears very solid though - in theory it should go past 5km.  Would like to test this

Cheers guys! I really enjoyed it apart from the cold!

Yeah I want to push out further but my video range wasn't filling me with confidence, and I was just out of work for lunch so didn't want to go too far. I've got skyzones arriving today and will order a helical from Simon so that I can push a bit further!

The wing has been sitting next to the radiator since to dry it out, it was almost completely under the snow after the landing! All electronics are covered anyway so hopefully no issues.
