Great colour!

Wings are fast and aggressive they deserve a loud colour.

Nice. What battery setup are you going for? Depending on the weight of your batteries you might want to hang the motor on the other side of the mount.

I have ordered two 4s 4400 nano techs ! To be honest I have never had great experiences with nano techs but fingers crossed this time. And your right about the motor placement, I'm going to wait until I have all the bits then bolt down into position, all I'm missing now is an antenna for the VTX and some uhu por ! I know the 8 channel diversity rx is a bit overkill but that's all I had without spending more cash ! Loving the build so far tho.

Sorry for the slow update ! My build blog is about as good as my love life ! Anyhow, my servos are growling ! They won't quite find their centre and relax, but, I am using new components on the whole so don't really know what I'm doing. Building this wing has been awesome, and I just traded in my spektrum for a taranis plus and ezuhf module, so lots of new stuff, the taranis has been melting my brain for the past 48hrs but starting to get there. Have done a calibration on the sticks and made sure plane is in manual mode but the servos just won't relax.
Here's a pic of things roughly layed out, please, any tips would be much appreciated.

Have you tried plugging the servos directly into the rx to see if the still twitch?

Just tried plugging servos direct into rx and they are still growling. I have not played with any settings in the ezuhf yet. More brain melt !

Hmm, what servos are they?
Can you power just the RX and servos without powering the rest of the plane?
Have you connected the ezUHF tx to the RX? How do the servos move?

Bit of an update, was struggling with the storm osd so have swopped over to eagle tree osd pro. On the bench it seems to work great, I have set the stabiliser gain control to a knob which seems to work well and the osd gives more than enough info it's awesome. But can I ask one question, thrust angle ? What are people going for, or just bolt her down !

I've not adjusted mine

I ended up using the mount from my Ninturi which I had bent a couple of degrees back towards the thrust line. Bruno's mounted his underneath the ply rather than on top, which I think is the way to go.

Just fallen at the last hurdle ! Got just about everything in place, did a bench test and am getting an error code on the osd screen, "graphics error email support " where's this come from ? The osd graphics are jumping all over the screen when I give it a little throttle ! Any clues !?

sounds like two unrelated problems to me.

if you spread out the bits you can remove and try again do you still get the noise?

I think you are getting some induction into the Video feed from something in the section with the Rx and FC in it.

as for the other issue no idea...

Cheers
Steve

Are you running a separate BEC? I can't see one in your setup and got a little noise on throttle with my JP ESC until I used a separate BEC.

I was thinking about a separate BEC, hopefully that will be the answer, I will also have a look after work tonight into moving a few bits about to see if it is picking up noise from anywhere else. I re flashed all the firmwares last night but it was getting to late to try anything out. Cheers for the advice guys, I guess the maiden may have to wait another week or so.

I picked up a UBEC from firstpersonview today, it's a Henge 6A max 8A 2-6s Lipo. But if using an osd do I want to power the rx or the osd, if I remove the power from the throttle cable which is plugged directly into the osd, can I plug the UBEC into the audio input of the osd to give power, or plug it into a spare channel on the rx which will then power the  osd ? I'm confusing myself here !
