Title: stryker fpv
Post by: mark1975 on September 04, 2011, 03:17:36 PM
well here it is at long last ive finally deciced to install all my fpv gear on the stryker as my pz radian just couldnt continue what with the lack of space and carrying capacity i was leaning towards the stryker its running stock motor but ive upgraded the esc to a hobbywing platinum 40a ..to cope with the demand ..ive attached some pics below ..you will notice ive placed the lipo on top as to be able to adjust the cog to any requirement. ive seen bracky 72 off rcg using the same method ..ill let his vids speak for themselves :D. it wil be held in place by velcro that is hotglued to the canopy ..there is no pan and tilt on this as..im not wanting this at this stage..

well after some intial testing done by chris r...but then the motor failed on chris ..some packing tape got wrapped up in the motor causing it to burn out,,but ben came to the rescue..with a secondhand turnigy 2835 2235 kv motor withc flew good i then took the controls flew it from takeoff with goggs on  to the landing with goggs on...loved it flew better and easier than i thought ;D..there will be some reall vids coming shorlty

Mark it looks a mean beast :D as she got to be flown fast, will she drop a wing if too slow,  and whats your landing speed like ?

i know a lot of questions,  ^-^ but fancy something hot to fly now myself lol

Hey dizz to be honest mate they glide superb''justnhang there can be flow in strong winds''very very stable--iit was cruising at 10a on the ezosd -the best decision I've made so far mate ''and if I can fly this fpv believe me anyone can ''haven't flown it Los for 1yr so I was rusty but she just didn't let me down''partsnarencheap''and so is the airframe only..
