Hi guys after the last two vids i decided to rewire my easystar to try to get away from this interference pattern that is on all my video's
I have fed my vtx power lead now down the outside skin, from the cockpit area well away from the video leads. moved my rc control rx to the under belly bay. Moved my battery right forward and wired in everything directly on the video side to do away with the video plugs and sockets.
I also have noticed that a lot of you guys use your key cams to get nicer clean video so i purchased a couple for my easy, only to discover ( where the hell do you put em) :D
After two weeks of planning pretty elaberate set ups, involving placing fittings etc i had a brainwave.
A simple piece of alloy sheet this mod is so easy its on the cog no attachments it tightens the wing a little too, and it can be modified to point the camera forward JOB DONE, no cost don,t affect the model in any way safe from knocks whilst landing :D

I am going to stick some double sided tape to the clip and face it with some dense foam and make another forward facing clip too

It's a great mod Dizzy like I say.
The only flaw (for me anyway) is that the cameras point downwards and I prefer my footage from the forward facing view.
I cabletied my camera mount to my wing so I can have 3 views depending on my mood ;D

I,m making another frame to face forward too i will post it when its finished, the main reason is i like to fly along the coast line so no matter which direction i,m flying if i,m off shore i should get some good shots down on the cliffs and surf line :D

Nice mod there Dizzy, does the camera not pick up a lot of the fuse ?
no coyote they are actually angled outwards a fair bit with a free fov :D

oh thats taped and glued now Gordon, had my VTX stuffed in there but the CoG didnt work out once the camera was attached lol.
