Post by: krizmyk on September 18, 2011, 01:31:19 AM
Hi! There... I need some advice...I'm using  fy21ap, turnigy with Frsky DIY kit and a JR PCM 9x also with 2.4 g Frsky module... How do you setup the failsafe function and RTL on these transmitters?

To set Fail safe in your JR9XII, switch on and press the 'List' button. The screen has 4 columns and in the 3rd column with 'Prog-Mix' and at the very bottom is Fail Safe. Press the scroll to enter the fail safe menu, scroll to each item one by one and set your switches and sticks to where you'd like them to Fail Safe to and each time press the 'MEMO' button and that's it.

Super important for the use of FY21AP make sure that you've assigned all the switches for the various flight modes then set the RTL switch on and set its' fail safe. The throttle stick needs to be set at a minimum of 60% power other wise your plane will not return home after the signal is lost because it will stall while under the authority of autopilot. Fly your plane and look for the best throttle setting and than set the fail safe.
