Managed to get out for a fly in the Peak District during a long weekend away. Only had time for one flight but it was epic fun. Met two other multirotor fliers there by chance, great guys and I pointed them in the direction of the hub.
Excuse the launch, not sure what happened but it could of got messy!

Awesome hill surfing mate, I see the weather was the same where you were as it was here. :(
I like your style with the 3D launch too, is that going to be a thing?
The weather was pants, but at least it was dry. The hill during was great, the vent did well.
Hope my launches go back to 2d! I don't need the added stress!
Wow ! great video..
Launch was showing off a bit though
regards
Andy
I wish I could pull a roll on every launch! Heart in mouth moment!

What do you mean Simon? The peak district has nothing on Chicheley hill!
Nice video and a great area to FPV in :) I've not been there for years, I once picked some...err 'mushrooms' on the walk up Thorpe Cloud with my mate back in the day!!!! :P
I've often thought the deep 'channel bits' in the peat on top of Kinder Scout would be cool to FPV along with a quad(as long as it had GPS for the inevitable getting lost), maybe I need to take the wife and kids there on holiday :D
Thanks, this was the first time I've flown in a 3d environment. Just need to remember to keep on the correct side of the hill, otherwise I'd loose signal!
That was good ! The misty weather gave it a cool atmosphere, enjoyed it :)
Thanks mate, I still was wishing for sunshine and fluffy white clouds!
