i started fpv a year ago, i never tryed flying a rc plane before this, so this is what i started with ,

after a few weeks i could fly her line of site okay after a few crash landings, then i watched all the footage back to get to know my training area from the sky, and got started fpv , it took a few flights to get the feel of the veiw from the plane and finding my way back, as its easy to get lost on your first fpv flights, ez star rateing 8/10 for a beginers fpv plane, gets boring quick when you have masterd the basic,s and want to have some fun. here is one of her flights, Fpv blackstork ii osd test . the swift was a big step up after flying the ez star i found it harder to fly los to start off with , I broke her in half on the first few flights after going into a full speed nose dive but i glued it back together and added some carbon rods , so i got the fy20a flight stabelizer and it helped me learn to fly it then with no troulble at all, maxi swift makes a good second plane and you can have more fun with her and it flys faster ;D a clip, MAXI SWIFT 2ND FULL FPV (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LoEgBmKFeBI#ws)

she flys realy good in fpv mode but i find it harder to fly los, so i only use it for fpv, its small size a ideal for transporting and carrying you dont need much space to land this little beast, highly recomended ,take a look swift 2 , getting better fpv,HD (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FQlddiIcdWE#)

Yes, I would love to hear this. I bought a Swift II as my first plane. It was quite difficult to fly, or maybe I should say quick to fly. I accomplished loads of loops, rolls, etc without actually intending to do any. Then I got an EZ* and I guess I went from one extreme to another. What I am certainly looking for is something inbetween. I love the stability of the EZ* but like the idea behind the flying wing and I like the extra control afforded by the wing.
the zephyr has the same wingspan as the maxi swift 54" but they are like night and day in the air! i have hade 3 flights with the zeph so far ,and i cant get over how much faster it flys compaired to the swift with the same power system , i was worried about my first launch , but i give it a good throw and hit the power and she just climbs straight up, i could not belive how fast it was moving after flying my swift, it flys easy x2 faster than the swift level flight too , the zepher is what fpv is all about iv sure got the love for fpv back with it ,i love the speed control and the fun of this plane, the down points are it is realy hard to burn off your speed when trying to land, so you will need a bigger flying area to land compaird to the swift, thanks for everyones good comments
