Interesting to see this finally on the market but no surprises at the price.
Good to see that they have copied the idea of chain drive from the Harrier - simple, robust and reliable.
Any idea how the FC switches from being a multi.... to forward flight? Especially as they're offering a selection of FC'S?
Got a feeling it's using the same software as Ipeels VTOL project:

Andy, you'd like to think so.... theres a yootooob video of it using a vector for both forward flight and multi and i find it bazaar why they would offer so many choices of FC?
FireFly6 forward flight maiden (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqSvGcRu0YY#ws)
Edit: I've just read that you need both multi and plank flight controllers linked via an interface.... check out the downloads section of there site

Yeah, the Firefly is the airframe of choice for VTOL cheats. ;)
There's a branch of the PX4 firmware that does multi / delta hybrids.
Well comparing that transiting to aircraft mode with the one in Ipeel's thread...
no contest. Ipeels one is way smoother.
That one said it "lost 60 ft" .. not so the PX4 one AFAIR..
