This is it pretty much done for now. I had the maiden this afternoon, she flew great, just had to turn the gain down on the gyro and it went like a bullet ! The eco power system from Flyingwings works perfectly for it and the build i found great fun and have already got plans for another one ! I ran it on a Vonista 2750mah 3s battery, had a good 20 minutes of screaming about and only put 1600mah back in. I found i needed very little throw on the ailerons, i found 60% weight and 35 expo (on Taranis) a nice fast cruising control strength. Launching was a piece of cake, went for a round body swing in stability mode and off she went, plenty of power to climb and can turn within a shoe box, awesome plane.

Wow that looks great. Since getting my cap I have completely fallen for the low and fast small size fpv platform. It's so bashed up but still flies great so I can't retire it yet. When I do I already have a 40" Ritewing replacement ready to be built. Pity really I would have been tempted by one of these as a really viable option.

I would love to see a comparison between the efficiency and speed setups. If a couple of members got together and did a few tests it would be really interesting.

Looking Really Nice and Fast work building it...

Unfortuantely mine is still in the box. Since getting my old bashed up Falcon going I dont need it yet...
(While temping to press self detsruct on my V1 Falcon.. its done so well that I decided it doesnt deserve it.. Still flies great so why kill it    )

Still when I get to Falcon EVO  looks like some good threads for inspiration...

regards
Andy

The lights are very cool - well done for the most bizarre angles to take photos :)
