Tried one Mobius to multi task as FPV cam & flight recorder simultaneously, today a bit windy,
I normally use Gopro & Sony super had,
This setup has less drag less weight and much less cost,
Mobius gets power from 5v bec

I did this for a while too.
Fear of the mobius running out of power put me off- although you can charge as it films as you're doing.
I have a sneaky feeling the mobius turns itself off after the memory card fills up- even if you're using the video out. I may be wrong but watch out for that.
I found the mobius terrible for a low sun. This was perhaps it's biggest disadvantage IMO. Also the video out cable was locked into the mobius USB fairly gently. I feared it becoming loose somehow and I would lose my video feed.
Big mem card, 5V charging and summer daytime flying and it's a great solution though.
Nice flight John, the Mobius did well, nice rich colours
Hi Billy,
At the moment i have a 32 g card installed and the Mobius is set to overwrite,
This is only for a change i could always go back to Gopro but i think the Mobius is easier to playback on pc
The latest firmware for the möbius is really good at white balance the previous releases used to suffer really bad when flying into the sun but it is a lot better now. Obviously not go pro quality but for 50 quid I can't really fault mine.

I use the mobius as main fpv cam and to record the hd footage on my Z2 and funjet where it's great as a space saver in the cramped fus.
As said above, it gives excellent results on bright sunny days but really seems to tail off quickly and produce grainy results in overcast conditions.
I love the ability to use the extension lead to be able to poke the lens through a small hole in the nose and position the main body of the cam in a more convenient spot (within about 8").
