OK so after being brave and pushing out a km last week, I thought I'd try and go a bit further, I wanted to go 1200m, when this worked with a perfect signal I figured I would go back out and do 1300m but when I got there pushed out to 1400m :D Then I noticed between a gap in the trees to my side I could see the church just across the field from my house, it sits on a hill(well what we call a hill in Norfolk, Northerners etc read as flat ). I went to the other side of the trees with a clear view right across to the little church and set off, 1500m exactly!!! Everything worked perfectly, good signal with everything ;D ;D
I also got and fitted my Remzibi OSD yesterday and must say it's bloody brilliant!!! Having the distance, altitude, speed and most importantly the way home displayed is fantastic!!! I will try and get rssi on it if I can work it out, seems like it should be a case of fitting a resistor between rx and OSD (or maybe the FRSky doesn't need it as it has a proper rssi out so may have a resistor internally on the rssi pin????? anyone?)
The video has all 3 personal best runs, the 1200 and 1400m ones are sped up but the last one to the church is in real time!!! Well happy to cover 1500m :D My house is across the field behind the church to the right, it was cool to see it in the goggles :)
