Was very windy today, was ok up high, but turbulent down low, and a gust caught me on my final approach and I broke a prop

What makes it even better is that you know she's thought about you and had to do the running round to sort it out... better than a shirt or a tie any day.

We just try to go places that are very out of the way and not damage anything, like crops etc.

Well it was coming down nicely, but that gust just lifted it back up and dumped me on the stones. Although to be fair it was me powering up again trying to get it back on the grass that caused the prop to break.
Shame I didn't get the DVR recording else you could have heard the lively debate about if I was going to ram us instead of landing, in which she seriously believed I was going to crash into her no matter what I told her :)
