After the Tri kit arrived on Saturday I've had a busy weekend modelling and the Tri is built (but not set-up yet). The Vector makes for a neat build although as I'm not hot on HD recording I have gone for a more simple, lightweight set-up without the vibration damped battery/camera tray. Weight is 800g on the nose with a 3s 2200Mah pack and 850g with a 3s Multistar 4000Mah pack so should hopefully give good flight times.
Motors are good old DJI 2212 920kv with Afro 20A esc's and 10x47 props and FPV is via a Surveilzone HS1177 (basically a PZ420M) and an IRC 2.4ghz vtx.
The diversity rx is only on there as I've run out of 4ch Lite's, time to get another one I suppose as the 8ch is meant to go in my SkyWalker when I get around to kitting it out.
Hopefully I'll get a chance to maiden this week.

Looks nice. If I ever got into multi rotors i would want a tricot er by David windestal
Great job Herk. I'm tempted by one myself with the integrated Naze32, the quality of the kit looks excellent.
Looks nice and tidy, be interested to see how the vector is on the Tri. I've got the integrated Naze version and its really nice!
Yes iPeel, it is a very nice kit indeed, highly recommended! I was tempted by the integrated Naze too Iwan but as I have a standalone Full Naze spare (so I can add a GPS) I thought a bare frame (with PDB of course!) would give me good flexibility if the Vector is no good on a tri. First impressions tonight are OK though, however I do have waggy tail syndrome so I need to work out how to tune that out. What has amazed me is the efficiency of this model, it's only pulling around 8A at hover so a 3s 2200 is looking like an easy 15 minute flight and the 4000 Multistar may stretch to 25 mins, we'll see...
That is awesome.
Incentive to upgrade my Version 1 :flying:
I'm spending more time on mini-quads these days so I've actually prep'ed mine to get rid of so PM me if you are interested...
