What does everyone think of the openrc swift?http://www.circuitgrove.com/projects/openrc-swift-3d-printed-flying-wing
Looks like a great project.
I would suggest that if you just want something to fly then it will be frustrating. Compared with a foamie flying wing this is going to break very easily. however if you are interested in technology, engineering and 3d printing etc then this is an ideal project I would think to push the boundaries ..

I would think it's going to be knocked around Luke a rag doll in any wind and the first not perfect landing is going to be a bin bag job.
the design and engineering taking place here is interesting, perhaps it could be useful for a scaled up version i.e. full size...
However, for a RC plane, it's completely the wrong kind of construction technique in my opinion.
Foam has all but replaced this kind of construction, unless you're a die hard balsa/ply builder... in which case, it could be a good solution for repairs I guess.
