Beautiful, shiny new Bixler 1.1 build for close-in hooning around and low down stuff ... everything set perfectly, camera glued into the nose, fuselage glued together...
And now I have to dig into the tailboom because I forgot to set failsafe and you have to press a button on the D8R-II :'(receiver - d'oh!
Thought I should check and.. yup! Full throttle, full right aileron, full down elevator.. because that'll work nicely \0/
BAH!
Know how that feels....I had to dig out my GPS receiver this morning....Cutting into your new shiny model.....Mmmmm....LOL.
:vulture:
Oh man that's typical. Very sharp blade and precision cutting and she will be right :)
This is just the sort of pain I want to avoid on my SkyWalker build - I want to have access to all the USB ports, all the little reset buttons, be able to see all the little LEDs, and replace all the parts & cables without having to cut the foam.
Which is why I have been staring at it for a week and still can't decide how to lay it all out.....
:-\
once you put it back together, just tape it up steve ;)
Full elevator and aileron at full throttle,! Sounds like a fail safe to me. Should come down lovely and quick. 😀
"safe" ? lol. Maybe if you have a hard hat :D
makes you wonder, what the manufacturers set as failsafe before it leaves the factory...
when I lost my teksumo to the Irish Sea, the failsafe on that seemed to be "full throttle, full left aileron, full up elevator"
