However in the enterprising spirit that won the West drone users in the DC area are fighting back in the modern way, with legal challenges. Despite possibly helping to fund needy lawyers it does show a measured and less shoot to kill approach that we sometimes associate with 'Merica. To quote their website "The Drone Legal Fund is raising funds to support legal challenges to regulations and policies that are deeply concerning to users and prospective users of small unmanned aircraft."
