Good on Paul for taking them on.
Bastards.
Bit dim to rob a store that probably wasn't exactly flowing with cash. I always wonder about people like this - got the balls to rob, why not do it properly and guarantee a decent score?
I mean if you're gonna go down and have little to lose, rob a bank or a betting shop. It's cooler than doing over a little greengrocers or a model shop.
Thieving scroat.
Bit of a shame not to kneel on his throat till the cops arrived.
;)
Fool.
For every one of these stories, there are dozens where the shopkeeper gets shot. All for a couple of grands worth of insured RC gear :S
Should the robber have been fought off / ejected? In terms of cold reasoning - No, it was too great a risk of injury.
Can I understand a 'natural' reaction to defend one's property and attack the robber - Yes I can.
I'm glad it all turned out OK.
Bloody toe-rag! Brave of the old boy considering the fact he weren't sure if it was a real shooter. Respect!
My own feelings are if in a life threatening situation and you see an opportunity do onto him what they are threatening to do to you >:(
Threaten anybody be it a real gun or dummy or what ever My feelings are you are intentionally frightening a person to your bidding so I think your leaving yourself open to the full force of the Law.
We are too bloody soft in this country I wish we had a Police force fully capable to act, track, this twit down and chuck him behind bars for ten years. But we have this lobby going all stupid and saying there are reasons he is a good boy really blah blah blah give him five weeks inside and rap his knuckles
I go by live by the gun then by all means die by a gun every time ;D ;D
After all people like this are no real loss to society are they?
dizzy THE HANGING JUDGE :whackydance:

YEP My very dear friend from many years ago had all his expensive garage stuff lifted one night the police knew who and when but did not do anything because he moved it on so quick there was no proof.
He kept passing by taunting my friend for months after and it effected him in a big way and made him retire early because he said what's the point.
I just wanted to take the bloke up the field one dark night and break his arms and legs and leave him there in the frost but i coulden't get any one to help me ;D
this guy with the gun is a part of our society i really hate oh also My Mum who is in her eighties feels the same way about robbery with force
Oh Cheers Lola hic :D ;)
There's a way to sort people like that and it involves brake fluid and a syringe. Not that I'm advocating violence but some people deserve an accident
So the other day I went to my local hobby shop to ask if they had anything I could fix my BB gun with... and the dude behind the counter just chucked me out
lol

Now if that were my local model shop they would prob phone the guard house around the Corner for the south entrance of Culdrose i think they carry arms Lol but i think it would be safer to take a bb into the Local Gunsmith I can play with the tanks whilst I wait ;D
