Sorry if this is obvious, but why are most of the pics posted on here on a site that seems to promote garbage, scams and BS like 'make a million dollars in a week' etc, with brainless pictures of semi-naked women in Ferraris?
Is it a site that pays for the upkeep or something?
The postimage feature is part of the simpleforums modules. When you upload to it only your picture should appear, no adverts at all. The site is hosted by Firstpersonview.co.UK on their own paid for server so there are no adverts other than the shop advert down the left column.
If it's a link someone has posted to a picture hosted outside the forum then any adverts that accompany it are not associated with the forum but their image storage service.
If you are seeing adverts in the forum itself then your computer is probably infected with a malicious program.

I get the pics of the semi naked women too to but my anti virus says the computer is clean.
But that's only if I click on the pic to expand it I should add. No such pics in the forum itself.

Just wondering why some images appear alone, and others are accompanied by the adverts.
I never see semi naked men maybe my pc is set up wrong :+ :laugh:

The images that appear alone are probably ones people link to that are not using the standard forum "Add image to post" feature but use the img square bracket code pointing to their own image hosting provider instead.
I don't use it, which is why my images click through without the adverts, such as this image I picked at random from my library:

There's loads of public upload sites you can use though, such as imgur, but few allow completely anonymous uploading like postimg does.
