I'm not sure I'm getting what the point of this is?
I'm guessing they're marketing it as a neat solution to tidy up those messy tripod ground stations... but notice how they don't show you it all cabled up... that's because it will still look like a plate of black spaghetti during operation... even worse that the sockets are all on the side... your plugs and wires will be sticking out from this unit.
OK, so this guy has managed to make it nice and neat, but it's still a relatively huge plastic box considering what it's doing
Looks quite good for £20....but its not, its a whopping £75! :o
it's just not very well designed
the holsters are specifically for the quanum VRXs, so you have to buy 2 of those (yes, I've just seen they have a 3.5mm jack with rssi... who knew?)
the box is too big
who needs a tablet holster on their GS?
Also, in their product pics (I know... it' doesn't come with that monitor) and in that review video, they've put a monitor on it that already has diversity 5.8 receivers without the complication of rssi wires all over the place, and has a much better location for the antennas.
The vrx mounting location is stupid... they are both right next to each other, and no where is provided to mount a directional antenna such as a patch or helical. they're so low down that a standard skew will lose about a quarter of it's all around "view".... pretty pants for 5.8.
lets do the maths... it has 4 x 12v outs... I'm assuming for:
1. monitor
2. vrx1
3. vrx2
4. dvr?
so where is the mounting point for a DVR? or where is the mounting point for whatever that 4th 12v is supposed to be for?
This will be WAY more bulkier and a PITA to lump around for FPV than a tripod with either a) monitor with diversity 5.8 and DVR built in... or b) a good sized monitor with a 1.2 VRX and high quality DVR velcroed to the back.
really pointless product in my opinion.
£75 for this, and at extra cost you have to buy a monitor and 2 x vrx
or for £16 more just buy this which is the exact same end result but with much less messing about with wires and plugs... and minus a few pointless output sockets.

I turned off Bruce's review part way through - I thought it was shite.
I'd rather have a DUO Rx fed from a lipo with an AV lead to goggles / screen, and keep all of my charging stuff separate ...
I just watched Bruce's review and it got me so wound up it's unreal...
Not only did he deliberately make his "usual" ground station look very messy just for this video, he then proceeded to come up with utter BS regarding the need for MORE power ports and the addition of a bloody overlay of RSSI and voltage.... I have a modicum of respect for Bruce's technical knowledge of things related to our hobby, but that video was quite possibly one of his worst ever.
It was clear that he was trying to come across as being slightly critical of the product (for the sake of his viewers), without being so harsh about it that HK would stop sending him stuff to review.
I did type up a fairly long rant, challenging almost every point he brought up in that video, but by the time I finished typing it up I realised how pointless my rant would have been and so deleted it all and this is all that's left lol
