One of my favourite FPV flights so far:
Nice flying, great spot to fly from :)
Nice video enjoyed that, over the water :o.
3d environments and wings rock
Thanks for the comments. It was so much fun and I can't wait for the summer so that I can explore these mountains more ;D
I recently purchased a cheap car just so that I can get out of the city for FPV... was worth it :D
Looking good, what an amazing place to fly from. :D
Great flying Adam, what a site to fly, might have to have a peek at this.
Keep the vid's coming.
just goggled it and it's in Ireland, bit far for a day trip, booo...
Yeah not so easy for you to do a day trip :P Ferry trip could be fun if you FPV from it while its moving ;D
These mountains take me less than 30 mins to reach from my city centre apartment so I'm looking forward to making good use of them this summer!
nice one....that spot was perfect for the wings..
you'd have had a helluva hike if you came down on those hills lol

Yeah that would be the rest of the day gone  I trust my control link, my Dragonlink RSSI is high all the time... I just worry about the 5.8 video sometimes, I don't like the thought of engaging RTH when i'm diving down the side of a mountain :o
Thank you for taking the time to make and post this, I found it super inspiring :) I am working towards throwing a wing down a mountain aswell as soon as I get my life together! :D

Thanks for the feedback. My favorite response is to hear that someone enjoyed it to the point where it has inspired them to do it themselves :D
Fantastic flying Adam. Lovely vid!!
Thasnk you to everyone who viewd/liked this video, it won me $200 in credit for Dragonlink store. I've used the credit to order 2 x new UHF receivers, one for my Skyhunter :sparta:

Congrats Adam. Now hurry up with the Skyhunter build. ;)
Looking forward to that.
Cheers, Mark
Liked that one Adam, and gave you a thumbs up.....When are you going to fit a 1.2G VTX so you can stretch its legs properly?...:)
The live recording looked particularly good given the light levels.

Thanks for that. I've been trying to resist moving it to 1.2 as I wanted a plane I could take out without a groundstation. Quick pick up and fly with zero assembly.
My new aircraft (Skyhunter) is going to be designed for this type of flying... but using 1.2 with the crosshair and tracker :rocks:
