Title: recommendation for a aircraft fpv tx and camera
Post by: gyronuts on April 12, 2016, 08:47:06 PM
Hi, I have a blade qx fpv with fatshark trlrporter goggles. I believe they have a reduced number of channels.
Can anyone recommend a suitable camera/tx combo to fit a parkflyer please.
would also like to have the ability to record onto an sd card.
looking for resonable range . thanks. bill

For something as small as a Blade QX camera wise you are really looking at a 2 gram camera  (https://www.firstpersonview.co.uk/cameras/2g-nano-520tvl-camera) and a tiny 200mW 5.8ghz Vtx (http://m.gearbest.com/rc-quadcopter-parts/pp_234856.html?currency=GBP&gclid=CjwKEAjwubK4BRC1xczKrZyj3mkSJAC6ntgrT3321Yc6orHVVx3SWflNWO6amRbu-iAFD2v-nRRzNhoCfcrw_wcB)

Anything larger needs a bigger airframe.

Then a 5.8ghz receiver (http://www.gearbest.com/fpv-system/pp_226495.html?currency=GBP&gclid=CjwKEAjwubK4BRC1xczKrZyj3mkSJAC6ntgrPltZogoiD_ykzUYLCu4Mb9Sb09VHRoX7Y2H7OITjZhoCCn_w_wcB) for on the ground. You need some form of display and DVR , you could buy a n nitro with a receiver and eve built in.

Either way though you are not going to be overly impressed with the picture recorded but the QX is m st too small for anything with any weight.

Hi Thanks for the prompt reply.
What I am looking for is an airborne tx and camera combo for a parkflyer or larger which will work with my fatshark teleporter Goggles and have a reasonable range. someone suggested a fatshark FSV 1602 tx and   FSV 1242 OR FSV 1205 camera.
I already have an assortment of electric fw airframes.

Sorry I misread, which I hadn't because now its much easier.

Any Fatshark / Immersion Vtx. Personally I would go for 250mW or above.

WDR600 camera. (http://www.surveilzone.com/DC5V-plastic-case-mini-sony-super-had-ccd-600tvl-super-camera-2.8mm-lens-for-fpv)

All the combos are not worth it, just buy the two and wire one to the other.

Any DVR will work when plugged into the teleporters AV connector.
