Winds were about 7mph, it was 8pm and very dark - the mobius did quite well considering, but it is WAY lighter in this video than it was in "real life".

Not sure what to say really - it flies really nicely and tracks well, it feels "locked in" when flying it even manually (no flight controller onboard). I like how quick it is even on the slow powertrain. Not so sure about the little yaw kick on launch but I probably just need to chuck it harder :)
Definitely in my top 3 planes that I've flown so far and well worth the cash.
Love the Mini Talon Steve....Yours looks like its dialled in good....The Moby did well in the gloom too, you are right...:)

Just weighed this, it is coming in at 1.73 Kg AUW with a 5000mAh 3s in it (and a 1000mAh 3s for my spotlight which I have separated from the rest of the leccy gear).
I have, against my better judgement, fitted my Turnigy T1000FC+GPS to it as a flight controller. I said (in the other thread) that I wasn't going to, but I really want RTH functionality more than anything else as it is a good safety net so I thought I'd give it a shot. The missus vetoed my chances of buying a new Tornado OSD this month with the worst scowl I've ever seen I'm a great believer in using what I have on the bench, so the decision was made.
The T1000FC doesn't allow you to disable stability control which is a huge annoyance - unless you do not connect the GPS, then you have the option of using it in "pass through" mode.
So - my thoughts are that since I want to be able to do some close-in blasting around low level stuff I will simply disconnect the GPS antenna to enable "manual" mode. If I want to do longer flights where I wouldn't be doing loops etc or low-level stuff then manual mode isn't really that important anyway whereas GPS RTH is.
We will see anyway. This was only meant to be a secondary plane at the end of the day, but somehow it has overtaken my Skywalker as my "go to" plane.

The print bed is just a fraction small, that's probably why it shrank the print last time..... pity it didn't inform me first ! :D
I used some software to chop the canopy in two from the thingiverse file then printed it in two parts, a small bit and the main body of the canopy... so I could fix them together. The large bit that took 10hrs to print fits perfectly, the little bit that should fit to the front is a bit too small ! :+ God knows why, they were just a split item.
Anyway, it should reprint fairly quickly, so I'll look at that when I get home tonight and I'll post a pic.

Didn't look as rough from the ground, winds were 17mph gusting 25mph according to XCWeather.
I think it did its job nicely.
