I have just gone to buy some of this stuff for the first time in the UK and am shocked a) how expensive it is and b) how difficult it is to buy here.
When I lived in Dubai my local hardware store had it for just slightly more than the brown version. Amazon UK has it for sale at £35!!! In the USA I see it's just under $5.
So my question is where you guys buy it - or maybe you don't and have alternatives to repair your foamies?
Is that the wood glue version?

No, it's the polyurethane version (PU) which is the foamng type we use to repair foamies. The wood version is PVA and much cheaper.
There are no dumb questions; if there were, I'd be the dumbest. ;D
I think the white version is the same as the PVA glue?

Well, the wood version (PVA) is also white but it's no good for sticking foamies back together.

That's the one! Shelf life of zero if you leave any air in the bottle. And never clean the nozzle with a damp tissue or rag!

I found that out too, except i didn't clean it a sneaky bit of air must of hid inside lol.
First bottle i got from my local hardware shop.
Second bottle I just picked it up from B&Q for about £10 while the mrs was looking for wallpaper lol.

It's nice to know others shop in diy stores the same way; we were in Homebase today, she headed off to Houseware and I browsed tools!
B&Q is listed as a stockist for GG but they don't list the white PU stuff on their website. I'll pop in to either Norhampton or Rugby to have a look for it. Thanks for the tip.
Search eBay for pu glue. I don't bother with gorilla glue it's the same stuff just with Fancy marketing and packaging.
I use Elmers Glue All, it's a PU and I buy from Amazon for about a £5 delivered. It's the same as gorilla but not so aggressive and cleans up better with surgical spirit.

After reading this thread and thinking about how hard it has been to find any over the last 6-12 months I decided to ask Gorilla Glue UK/EU (they are the same thing, but seem to change their minds depending on who you email) why it was so hard to find White Gorilla Glue in the UK.
3 emails and a Facebook Message later I eventually got a reply that says they have stopped importing it into the EU/UK, no reason why.
I have imported some in from the USA and i am selling them through my site if you are still Struggling to find any.
