More people giving drones a bad name

I was there only a few days ago .. must admit it'd give you a shock / be a bit worrying to look out of a plane window and see a drone flying next to you.
That said their laws and punishment are so harsh I wouldn't like to be the 1st person caught .... be a bit more than the slapped wrists you get over here me thinks!!!
did anybody see the suspected drone? film or photo? It might have been that plastic DJI Phantom bag that blew over from Heathrow ;D
I did notice last time I travelled through Dubai airport that they were selling Phantoms and Inspires in the Airport shops - which seems odd

Maybe they have a testing facility where you can try before you buy but nobody told ait traffic control :D

Same at Frankfurt, but think about it. These things are being sold in the shops laughingly called "duty free" - a couple of quid off maybe, but sometimes actually more expensive. But I digress. These shops are airside so there is not the opportunity to buy then fly. There is however the opportunity to buy spirits then guzzle some of this before boarding a flight during which the now drunk person can be a pain or even a hazard. Even if you don't but duty free booze there are plenty of outlets happy to exchange beer, wines & spirits for money. With a great deal of air rage incidents involving alcohol there is more need to restrict sales of this rather than drones at airports.
