This should satisfy the gassers who have grown tired of the clean electric stuff and crave good old exhaust fumes and an oily rag to clean up at the end of the session. The model design however suffers from something similar to the much heralded F-35 Lighting II in that for forward flight it carries a considerable dead load - battery, motors, speed controllers and support structure in the case of the model and a lift fan with mechanical coupling in the F-35 case. Still, it is good to see guys experimenting.
