My googles have suffer some sun damage to the right hand LCD. Has anyone successfully repaired this type of damage themselves. I'm looking for help from n sourcing parts and guidance. Alternatively is there a reasonably priced repair center that could do this work. I'm based near Edinburgh
Thanks for any help given
I've heard good things about the immersion RC repair centre http://www.headinthecloudsrc.co.uk/index.php?manufacturers_id=5
I had my attitudes repaired by fatshark UK repairs after they got sunspots.
Think it's about £35 per lens.
Had them back about a week before they got nicked. :-\
Thanks guys appreciate the advice. Mine have been modded with the leforge diversity modules would I need to remove those before sending way?
I would email them first and ask the question.
Yea e-mail them - they're usually pretty responsive and will give you a quote before you send your gear off
Thanks guys I got an email back from fatshark with a returns number and a quote for approx £35 as advised. Instructed to remove the battery and any added modules and pack in the fatshark box. To include Roma number and return address. So hopefully they will turn around fast
Interestingly nothing back from immersionRC I emailed them at the same time
Super fast service from Fatshark. Sent them last Thursday and they arrived back today. Well happy 👍
