Title: Ready For The Maiden
Post by: Tonka on December 15, 2016, 11:49:41 PM
Here is my last build before my absence from the forum, the old H quad is for practice (and I now need a lot ) but my Spidex is ready for it's maiden flight but I will need to do lots of practice because it has been several years now since I last flew anything.

Nice - I have one of those Spidex quad frames but I couldn't get rid of the jello on my camera. It's a nice frame though, be interesting to see how you get on.

God I remember the days of building quads out of sticks and KK boards lol :)

I'm scouring the web for frames and electronics... OMG There are far too many for me to look at... I remember there used to be maybe 2 or 3 sites IN THE WORLD that sold quad frames.

I'm always amazed how cheap and how many frames are on eBay nowadays.
I like you're Style Tonka, it's not a problem getting replacement parts if you brake an arm.
Good luck with the maiden.

Such a far cry from the small space requirements of a mini quad! Cool though.

I have no idea where my spider frame went too, acres of room.

I wouldn't mind doing another 450 size again but they are a bit slow for my needs.

How did the maiden go ?
