Title: Fatshark
Post by: gt40driver on December 16, 2016, 04:01:02 PM
Sometime ago I bought a pair of Fatshark Attitude V3 goggles which I used without issue.
As things progressed with my FPV flying I wanted to sort out and use the head tracking
facility. Spent a Sunday faffing about and finally managed to get them working but I couldn't
access the menu to change channels and the servo would track to the right slowly. Thinking I had
a head tracking fault bought a trinity head tracker which does not fit (different pins) Bugger I
thought I've bought a lemon. Contacted Build your own drone and they put me onto Dave at
UK Spares and repairs. A few emails and the goggles were on the way to be repaired. Dave
e-mailed back with an all clear. No issues at all. Problem was with the manual and a few videos on
youtube which incorrectly show you how to access the menu which I can now do with the correct info
from Dave. The drifting of the pan servo is or can be normal until the gyro's stabilise on powering up.
All I can say is great service from Dave and warranty from Fatshark which I would not have thought I
would have had as I bought the goggles secondhand with no idea of age etc.
I have now setup an e-flite mustang with a camera with just a pan servo. When the cows
are out of our flying field I shall be of to have a go and report back on how I get on. Thanks Dave. ;)

Had a fan go down on my HD Dominators, super fast turn-around and no charge, feel this guys has my back if my kit goes down, its why I use Fatsharks.
