I have one unbuilt in the loft, wondering if I need another bird.
I just sold mine this week.....Bought a Talon with the profit....Lol.
Honestly, I dunno.....Blueflyer has flown his I think...
:vulture:
I also have one sitting in the loft, tried to sell it a few times with no success!
My friend built one but it only flew a few times, was plagued with electronic issues (nothing to do with the frame mind) so he gave up and bought a talon instead! :P
I think they flew quite well though, but they are pretty big!
I have one, flies nicely, but not as good endurance as MT and a pain to launch.
TeamFTP has had good flights with his and has a comprehensive build series on his youtube channel
Flies nicely at speed, I had a few unwanted spirals of death when bank turning too hard without enough power on... recovered from them though.
One of the best things about it is the precut holes for gear in the wings.
As long as you give it enough power, it's not too bad to launch, it's just the size and shape of the thing makes it a bit awkward to frisbee launch.
I personally did the javelin launch method (the standard launch for regular planes) with full beans and had no issues.
glides very well with very little waggle, in fact I can't even remember mine wagging at all.
Here's a vid of someone else flying a X6
Thanks guy's, looks like it fly's OK. I will check out the build video Steve, thanks.
I already have a Zephyr II wing, and a big Skywalker, but this one is appealing for the detachable wings, I could fit it in a bag and go out with it on my bicycle.
I've got one G and it flies fine.
PK
Mine flew great tbf G
I just got bored very quickly with it and the size was bit of an issue in my car,
What made it boring Simon?
Wasn't the wing G it was me, I get bored far too easily with gear, I must be hobbyking/Banggood ideal customer lol
Here's a vid from a couple of years ago
