Ok - I bet this has been asked before, but I have serched for an answer without any luck.
Radio Control Tx systems.
The current UK max output is 100mW, e.g. as OpenLRS sold at:-

Questions:-
1) Does the openLRS have an 'illegal' output boost switch as per the Ezuhf ?
2) How easy is it for a non-electronically minded guy to assembly/ flash / install openLRS?
3) How much LESS is the typical power output from a 'normal' - say Futaba FF8 or 9 tx?
1) No it doesnt have an illegal switch, the power output is defined in the code
2) Assembly is easy enough, it plugs straight into your futaba, the only thing you would have to do is flash it with a FDTI programmer and even easier using Thundeads program

No less power, 100mw, which is the same power as your futaba`s stock power output, but loads morre range due to it being much lower frequency
