Post by: Animal brown on May 10, 2018, 10:26:51 PM
Hi I am looking to do a bit of scratch building after having had a break from it. where is the best and best value place to buy carbon spars, tubes and flat strip from these days. looked at hobby king but not really seeing what i want on there.

I normally get stock at the Nationals from various retailers. I suggest you try :

https://balsacabin.co.uk/ (https://balsacabin.co.uk/)

http://www.tjdmodels.com/ (http://www.tjdmodels.com/)

Also try ebay.

These guys are good, not compared prices recently as they are close to me so I don't pay p&p so can justify a bit more.

Hobbyking used to sell some, used to be a challenge finding it in stock in the UK warehouse

Have used Hobbyking a lot in the past but the website has just become so awkward to navigate and slow and always forgets my location. I still buy occasional bits off them but couldn't really se anything I wanted in their carbon fibre range.
