Title: Betaflight showing 0v when battery plugged in
Post by: ali101 on December 25, 2020, 03:35:26 PM
Hi guys,

When I plug in a 4s lipo to my omnibus F4, I get 0v on BF and on my OSD. Even though I have checked with props on, but still get 0v.

My FC does work, as I can spin up the motors in BF.

Any ideas why my voltage isn't being read?

in both of your config dumps you have vbat_scale set to 0. Start with the default value (1100) you should get a reading close to reality then calibrate the voltage to get an exact value. Increasing it increases the voltage reading.

Thanks for your reply, but I've got my VBAT scale set to 110 (assuming the post meant 110 not 1100, as for me it only goes upto 255)

Here is a picture of my FCs wiring diagram, is there anything I need to connect apart from B+ and B- to get battery voltage to show?

Hi....On the off chance that you have no Vbat association from the FC to the PDB it will not peruse battery voltage. Take a gander at the wiring chart once more.

Additionally no compelling reason to play with Blheli except if you need rpm sifting. I never trouble, its confounded enough previously getting everything working. Except if you are hustling or are an exceptional pilot you are probably not going to see it not being on the off chance that you have a sensible base tune.
