The 2 does look like its improved over the 1st but the rudders still too small. Looks good though :)
wont that motor fit inside ?
or is there a reason you havent put it in the housing.
i finished mine on monday flies great haven't felt the need the make the rudder bigger
i have the the hornet osd and fy31ap in mine only had 2 flights flown to 500m away at 50m high
was fantastic
well had a quick fly...
so far so good!
it was so windy and gusting that i didnt add any trim at all in the 20 odd mins in the air.
i was using a lot of throttle but the rudder seemed to have good authority compared to mk1
for a laugh i dilled in some flapperons and had the air brakes on for a bit into the wind..
and we went backwards! lol
i never managed to get the mk1 to really go backwards, but the mk2 wing profile seems to cut into wind better.
maybe the removal of the undercamber helps, but im sure on a calm day it will miss some of its original 'floatyness'
a good trade i think..
so far 10/10 for EZ*2

p.s.
yes i could have mounted the motor inside and reversed the shaft but i wanted to get as much weight aft as possible.
for adding stuff to come in the nose ;)
the esc is mounted in the motor pod just in front of the outrunner to help this too..
valid piont with installing the motor like that i gues thats why i ran out of usable space inside had to mount the reciever under the wing :+

i think the nose maybe slightly longer but slightly more narrow..?
the real bonus is all the room you now get under the wing in the fuz...
it like doubles the internal space for stuff! :)

i was to eager to build mine to take pics... lol
i was going to take some pics of the second one but my mate built that before i got any pics :/
the ez2 has the motor wires comming down through the wing slot...
they made a small indent in both wing halfs to accomodate the wires like this...
also has 2 small vent holes on sides aft of servos...
the bay extends all the way back to these....
