I've never been so happy to crash in my life. After my first FPV flight ended up in 2 crashes where I just seemed to inexplicably lose control, I went out this morning. Still was a bit windy, but I thought I needed to try and fit flights in where I could.
I flew my first battery LOS, and everything was happy. So switched to my goggles and flew the next two batteries FPV, with some minor heavy touchdowns... I blame the wind mainly... or my lack of experience in FPV (especially in the wind)
So battery 4, my last. I take off, and I get the exact same response from the Tri as I had in those previous crashes. Response goes weird, what I'm doing is having minimal effect. Having flown in the wind I was quite used to correcting to stay upright, so I was absolutely certain it wasn't me this time.
And then I caught sight of the legs in the shadow, the shape was wrong. Watching the playback made things really clear. The response was exactly the same as in my previous crashes, so I'm sure this was the original problem. I guess I need to tighten things up, as it managed to throw the nut altogether.

I've never been so pleased to have my lost-model beeper. I had a scary few minutes where I was too far away to hear the beeping (and the wind doesn't help), but when I started hearing a faint little noise, it was like the best music I'd ever heard
Yup thats your problem, good to see it in the video so you know its definitely that. Easy fix though :)

I had this happening when I changed over from wood booms to sq alloy ones, just not enough friction even with the nuts tightened more. ended up clamping the two front ones with cable ties, works well and will break on impact so saving the airframe.
2 picture hooks on the front legs and an elastic band work a treat , also holds it together for transportation
