Title: My Ground station
Post by: g.collins on June 23, 2012, 01:22:37 AM
Well I have finally got around to start building my ground station with the monitor I got ages ago, it will holed 2.4 and 5.8 VRX units, that will strap to the clip on holder on the left hand top of the lid, this way I can also put them on MyFlyDream tracker if I take it.
the monitor hood is made of corex, that folded away in to the lid, making for a quick setup on the filed, I have left the outer side white, so it doesn't get so hot in the sun.
the GS is powered my a 5000mah 3cell lipo, which is monitored my the little voltage meter on the left side of the unit, this has an alarm to let me no when the battery is getting low, I haven't bothered going to town on lodes of switches and gadgets, I'm gust having 4 powered Video outs, and my DVR Japan, to record the analog signal when I want to.
The GS is quite small so if I decided to, I can mount it on top of a tripod.
