Title: FY31 and Elevon question
Post by: Skipper Billy on June 28, 2012, 04:02:09 PM
I have installed my radio gear on a  wing and used the Elevon function to get the corrcet mix for Aileron and Elevator.

All works fine.

I am about to install my FY31AP - and I have learned about the no. 3 dip switch to select Elevons on the Fy31.

Question is - do I take the mix out of my transmitter and go back to Elevator and Aileron and leave mixing to the FY31 or leave it as is ???

The reason being that the FY31 has a RTH function so needs to control the plane if/when the transmitter signal is lost. Therefore the elevon mixing has to be done on the plane not in the transmitter.
