Title: Connections AIO Goggles to Chainlink Dare
Post by: [email protected] on July 20, 2012, 01:25:35 AM
Hi People, congratulations for the excelent forum.

I´m new on FPV and have some stupid questions, but first my setup:

Futaba 9 cap
Cheinlink dare TX and receiver
Skywalker - turnigy 3536 1400Kv, esc 60Amp, Bat 11,1V 5000 20c
Fy-31AP
OSD Hornet
Aio Googles
Gopro cam
Video rx tx 2.5W 1.2Ghz
Bat 11,1V 2800 to video sistem, fy-31AP and osd

Here it goes:

Could I Powered the receiver, from BEC, side by side with Throle signal from the esc on channel 4 channel 3? (Make a mistake saing channel 4)

Not OSD Hornet but FY-31AP send 3 cables to receiver on channel 1, ground, positive and signal. It provided energy to the receiver on chanel 1?
I ask this because I will need an empty channel on receiver to the OSD switch.

My last, do you have the diagram to connect the aio goggles head track with square plug to the Chainlink dare?

Thank you in advance for any help.

Best regards,

Luis Silva

Yes you could do that, but I would highly advise against this.

FY31AP has a problem with controlling throttle.

Instead, take ESC throttle wire to Chinlink rx channel 3 ( throttle ) This will then give you control of the throttle and power the Chainlink rx.

Connect Chainlinks channels 1,2 and 4 ( Aileron, Elevator and Rudder to FY31AP. This gives AP control of the surfaces and powers AP. You will also have the spare channel free for OSD Switch and FY AP modes.

Thank you Coyote for your replay.

I have intentions to connect the ESC to the receiver, but my question remains.

See this Pictures:

In this image I connect the power source on a spare channel Channel 9) but it lacks one to the OSD SW

In the picture below I propose two situations. What is the situation feasible? or is that not possible any of them?

Later I will post fotos from CAP9, Chainlink Dare and AIO Goggles connections.

Like you see on fotos I need connect the chainlink Dare to  the 9CAP through the square plug to obtain the PPM signal.

My big question is how I make the connection betwin AIO Goggles to especific port on chainlink to take advantage of AIO Goggles Had tracker.
