It won't win any air races, but here's a mock up of my new Skywalker...

Looks great that mate, really good :)
looks way better than my skywalker for sure :)
Not sure how long it will stay like this! Am off for 2 weeks now so hoping to get some flying in if the weather stays fine.
Looking good :) Just don't have any "Unscheduled landings"...
looking great bud, good job.
;) G
Sweet!! will stand out well in the sky :D
Jim.
First maiden didn't go so well... Seriously underestimated COG.
After recent problems with trying to get my Raptor off the ground, I probably set the COG too far back and it immediately stalled - luckily into brambles. No damage done.
Have now replaced 2200mah with 5000mah as far forward as possible - giving COG about 20mm behind servo line. Weighs in at 1.950Kg.
Waiting for next non-windy day...
Addendum:
Had another maiden last night. Didn't go "backwards" like before, but struggled to turn. Quickly got it down into the long grass and cranked up the ailerons to 125%.
The next flight was a success. After some rapid trimming, it flew straight and level. Even managed a perfect glide landing. After a few more LOS flights it'll be FPV ready...
Good stuff :) Your CG wants to be 20 -30mm back from servo slot 30 maximum. I found the same with mine, the ailerons are really naff and need a bucket load of throw just to have "some" effect on the planes flight path :)
I agree with Coyote on the CofG and ailerons. The Skywalker needs some rudder to turn nicely, don't mix it in just use your thumbs for a nice coordinated turn, have fun.
