Title: Naza update - servo frequency?

Hi everyone,

Following the latest Naza firmware update, there is an option to change the gimbal servo frequency settings. Problem is, I can't find that information for my servos, Emax ES08MD. I have looked at the specs here: http://www.emaxmodel.com/views.asp?hw_id=8 (http://www.emaxmodel.com/views.asp?hw_id=8) but there is no mention of input frequency...

Is anyone able to offer any clues? The range of frequency offered by the Naza software and I'm concerned about damaging something if I set it incorrectly.

Go from high to low.
If the servo plays up, makes unusual noises or doesn't move the way it should move usually - reduce the frequency.
It's a bit of a lottery to find a servo that works with gimbals, but you usually don't break them.

All servos should be able to cope with the low frequencies.

Presumably, running the highest frequency possible is best? So far, it seems to make no difference what I choose!

It should give you the highest update rate assuming, the servo can cope with the minimal changes the controller will send to it. That's down to the servo resolution. The downside is a larger energy consumption, though that should usually not be much of an issue.

Does the output frequency have a relationship to power consumption?
I'm assuming the lower the frequencies the higher the consumption?
I'm in the same situation atm
