Post by: Shikra on November 05, 2012, 11:26:14 AM
My code development copter was destroyed in a er um little incident monday night after 18 months great service :(

So mk2 came alive and had its maiden LOS and FPV this morning!

Packed full of goodies! Check out the vid (unfortunately the camera can't pick up colours well)....

Multicopter bling !! Not many doing it. Probbaly cos it adds no real value!! But nice to have for sure..

I2C OELD for configuration
I2C LEDring for status indication.
Plus the GPS of course....

I have created a webpage for the LEDring. It's a shame the video doesn't capture the colours / effects well. Looks real cool in real life
http://code.google.com/p/ledring/ (http://code.google.com/p/ledring/)

The LEDring is supported by MultiWii now - but needs some mods. Dev release has full support.

For those who don't follow multiwii closely... the developments in code keep getting better... coming in next release...
