Title: revamp of my quad
Post by: Dizzy on November 06, 2012, 12:27:14 AM
i have just cut out some new slim line body shapes from 1.4mm fibre glass to reduce her bulk and give her better curves than i got ;) and lose a few grams in the process  :)

back to basic chassis

new curves and place for the two rx and gps

running kit on, and tested,  the top deck will be used for fpv gear only

Nice. Is that frame all home made? How does the weight compare to off the shelf frames?

Nothing like a fresh quad refit with new frame  even better if they're your own design.  How did you cut your frames? Hack saw job or ?
I have some G10 I use for frame plates n other projects..quite difficult to cut a nice edge with basic hack saw lol.  stinks also if you cut with a frenzied rapid motion.:))

Cheers
