Gotta grab the nice days when you can. I had a stinking headache, but bravely got my wife to drive me to the New Forest to see how the video signal would hold up over 1km.
The video was absolutely fine, although my heart was fit to burst through my chest on my first flight. Mainly because I hadn't flown there before so was concerned about finding it if it went down.
The Forest seemed strangely devoid of ponies today... until we drove home and they were sat all over the road.

Well done Wayne, that's a video to be extremely proud of! Brilliant! That location brings back a lot of memories although I've only ever flown it LOS and almost had my planes in that lake once or twice :)
Let's have a meetup there next summer? It's isolated from the Forest Warders - no way they'll get us there :)

Cool, I think we'll be ok if we sneak into the forest in smaller groups - and Rich doesn't bring his 10m antenna with a sign on it saying "Trouble makers here" ;)

Yep, the boat was fast, they are large scale too. As soon as I saw it I just thought "you guys need a bigger lake". Sounded like a chainsaw going crazy and very loud from around 400m away
